Loadout is a new, outrageous multiplayer shooter that’s all about building guns and having fun. Although Loadout is a 3rd-Person shooter, it feels more like a first-person shooter, but with 10 times the agility.
Build a massive variety of absolutely insane weaponry — BILLIONS of combinations — totally customized, totally unique, totally deadly.
You want a launcher that shoots ground-skimming rockets that explode into destructive clouds of flak? You got it! How about a gun that shoots syringes filled with healing green goo that bounces off walls? It’s done Son! What about a remote controlled missile that sticks to enemies before frying them in a massive blue ball of electric destruction? We got you covered.
Loadout is about total and uninhibited player expression. Craft your own guns, design your own load out, customize your character to the nines, and define your own play style.
Player movement is one of the major focal points in Loadout. The game is far more agile than other shooters, reminiscent of the shooters of old, such as Quake and Unreal Tournament.
To create the sensation of controlling an agile player, we place an extra emphasis on mobility. You’ll be able to perform maneuvers such as a Ramp Jump or Power Roll that give Loadout an additional sense of platforming, making the Loadout experience unique and fun. Please refer to the controls below for more information:
We currently have 4 game modes in Loadout: Blitz, Jackhammer, Extraction, and Death Snatch. More game modes are on the way! For tutorials and instructions on how to play our current game modes, please refer to the video tutorials after the jump:
Loadout is all about making your own weapons to define your own unique play style. In lieu of distinct classes in Loadout, you define your class through the weapons you create, and trust us,...there are billions of combinations to choose from. Using our modular Weaponcrafting system, you will be able to create unique and personalized weapons from a large variety of weapon parts. All new players will start with a complete set of Tier 1 weapon parts to build multiple guns. As you continue to play Loadout you will earn extra weapon parts, in addition to unlocking new parts (Tier 2, 3, etc) to further customize your arsenal. Once you've earned a new weapon part, you will always have that item available to use for creating future weapons. When you replace a part or dismantle a gun, the old parts will return to you inventory to use again. The more you play, the more weapon parts you earn, and the more you can customize!
We are big fans of allowing players to express themselves freely through thousands of different character customizations. Using various clothing, accessories, and taunt animations, you’ll be able to make an over-the-top version of yourself to take into battle and grieve your opponents.
Spacebux is the in-game currency of Loadout. You can use Spacebux to purchase weapon parts and character customization pieces to create more and more unique combinations to take into battle.
In regards to weapon parts, you can only assign one weapon part per gun you create in your arsenal. Hence, players will want to accumulate as many weapon parts as possbile. After each match in Loadout, you can earn Spacebux, extra XP, or new weapon parts. However, you will also be able to purchase Spacebux with real-world currency via our in-game store.
In addition to weapon parts, most character customization pieces and taunts can also be purchased with Spacebux.
Keep in mind some clothing items and accessories will only be available to players through special promotions, and will never be available to purchase in-game. So, you'll definitely want to keep an eye on our Loadout homepage for when those special items become avaialble.
